“懐かしい一軒家での、心地よい一晩のお泊まり。”
The location was the best part, and the atmosphere created by renovating an izakaya was great. It was a dormitory, so the private space was less than a typical hotel, but for a dormitory it was sufficient. The bed was clean, and the old‑house feel of the converted house was actually comforting for me. The front desk staff were polite and down‑to‑earth, which I liked. Depending on expectations, the fact that there was only one toilet and the shared kitchen had a bowl and colander that hadn’t been washed were issues. The shower seemed to have two units, but one was always in use and unavailable. That was inconvenient, but not a big deal. Parts of the room’s walls and floor were somewhat worn. The hallway windows stayed open at night, which was good for ventilation, but it was cold in the morning—maybe I should have closed them myself.
