I booked here twice and the same issue popped up: I couldn’t get the access codes for the room and no one was available to help. I flew all the way from London just to book a room I couldn’t use, then was told to pay for another place and that my money would be refunded later, whatever.

The place is cheap, but it’s very basic and noisy, and there’s no kitchen even though it was advertised. It’s fine for a single night.

The room was clean, but there were no cups, spoons, forks, or a mat to stand on after a shower. There was no toaster, and an extractor fan in a kitchen that has no cooking facilities is pointless. There was no mirror, and the shower temperature swung from hot to freezing cold in a second.

On our last night we had to leave the apartments because a drug‑ and drink‑fuelled party was happening in the building, bottles were being thrown and smashed. The police were called, and since we were there for work we couldn’t stay safely, so we left in the early hours and slept in the van before starting a 12‑hour shift and a 5‑hour drive home.

The location was convenient for my work, but the host didn’t respond, there was no Wi‑Fi, and the bed and bathroom were filthy.
