“Kleines, etwas älteres Hotel am Stadtrand”

The hotel is on the outskirts of Tübingen, with a free parking space right at the front door. The bus to the city stops 50 m from the hotel (watch out on the return trip, the stop is a bit further). Breakfast is good. In the basement there’s a fridge stocked with essential drinks (wine, beer, soda, water, etc.) that you can buy cheaply. The beds are comfortable. The hotel sits on a side street, so it’s quiet. The bathroom is a bit dated. The shower is a bit tight, only good for slim people ;-) I found the room price a bit too high; 15 % less and everything would have fit (but maybe Tübingen is just a bit pricier for hotels).

“Gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis”

Good value for money. Unfortunately there was a lot of chaos during booking. A double booking happened. My sister had also booked a room, but on arrival there was no room available for her. We initially didn’t have a room, but fortunately that was resolved.

“Optimaler Ort um Tübingen kennenzulernen”

Breakfast was lovingly prepared and plenty. The location of the accommodation was great, with a direct bus link to Tübingen’s old town, even free on Saturdays. In the basement there was a guest fridge and the beds were comfortable. Under the bed it was very dusty. The utilitarian furnishings are old and worn.
