“Um bom lugar para se descansar.”
The lodge sits in a very quiet neighborhood and is easy to spot, close to the main tourist spots. The owners are attentive and friendly, and the towels and linens are soft and fragrant. The coffee is simple but satisfying. Overall, it’s a decent place to shower and sleep. The infrastructure feels old, but that’s not a problem for me; however, it’s poorly maintained. Cleaning was a bit lacking, especially in the bathroom cubicle. The shower is basic. We stayed in cold weather, and the blanket was too short. The bed was reasonably comfortable, though it had a “V” that pushed my wife and me toward the center, which wasn’t a major issue but worth noting. The door in my room was badly deteriorated and let in a lot of light from the hallway, disturbing my wife’s early sleep. Importantly, the lodge has no accessibility features: there’s a ramp at the entrance but inside there are steps that would hinder a person with reduced mobility or a physical disability. Some investment in the infrastructure would be worthwhile given the strategic location and solid structure.
