“Eine charmante, geschichtsträchtige Unterkunft - wir fühlten uns wohl!”
An old, historic house that you already look forward to when booking! The inn sits right on the street and also directly on the river, creating a very idyllic atmosphere. The traffic on the road didn't bother us at all. Shops and restaurants are right nearby, and the place is a good starting point for trips to the national park by car. I especially want to highlight the bedding—it was the most pleasant of our whole Canadian trip: wonderfully warm, freshly scented, and very clean. The free on‑site parking was perfect! The house and rooms are a bit dated, but everything needed was there, including a fridge in the room. Breakfast was served differently each day, freshly prepared and good, even though the presentation style might be a bit unusual for European guests. The inn also has a bio‑gourmet restaurant with very high‑quality cuisine. Prices are on the higher side and portions are small, but the food quality is spot‑on. Unfortunately, the bathroom lighting didn’t work properly for us, so we had to use a floor lamp. The bathroom, especially the shower, was very small, but we didn’t see that as a major issue since everything necessary was present.
