The location is excellent. I didn’t dislike it, but given the price I think the accommodation could offer a more elaborate breakfast instead of just a simple one.

I was really pleased with the reception; when we arrived we asked them to expedite check‑in because we had to be on time for an event, and they obliged, freeing our room immediately.

The environment is comfortable, clean, staff are helpful, and the location is good. Women who like to use a hair dryer after shower will find this lodge unsuitable—there’s a rule that forbids using a hair dryer or iron at any time. I was surprised by this rule; if you plan to enjoy the beach and want to use a hair dryer to leave the street with dry hair, Transcar is not a good option.

The location is fine, but the rooms lack lamps and have almost no power outlets next to the bed—there’s only one outlet in a three‑bedroom suite, and to use another you have to turn off the minibar. The ceiling light is that sterile white hospital glow, which is odd. The Wi‑Fi doesn’t reach the room. The mattresses and sheets feel like the cheapest possible. “Free parking” apparently means parking on the street, which is hilarious. It’s 12:30 am and the noise continues, probably because there’s no soundproofing. Honestly, I can’t see how this place gets a 4.4 rating; do people who stay here really consider all of this normal?

The front desk was pretty indifferent, and when I finally got to the room it was clearly not cleaned. The floor and linens had dust, and the breakfast was bland and far from what I'd expect.
