On that day a school was held at the hotel, which was very loud, even at night. We tried to sit in the lobby late in the evening, but the whole school occupied the space; after we moved to the “bar,” a teacher asked if we could sit elsewhere because they were having a discussion, but that didn’t work because students and teachers were spread all over. Breakfast was therefore more child‑oriented, which was a pity. The hotel staff were very nice and even placed some fruit on our table.

The hotel was minimalistic, which matched the price, but I had two major issues: the name and address listed were wrong – the property is actually the Kronenhotel at Karwendelweg 732, not Münchner Straße 75 as shown, and it’s about a five‑minute walk away, not just a corner or across the intersection, making it hard to find. I arrived at 5:45 pm while check‑in was scheduled for 5 pm and no one was at reception; my key was left with a note, and I had to wander the hotel looking for my room, asking strangers for directions and carrying my luggage, which got tiresome. Additionally, there was mold on the shower tiles.
