The room was clean and comfortable, and the sheets and towels were fresh and smelled nice. The AC worked well, and breakfast was tasty—enough to feed two people. However, there was no hot water, which wasn’t a huge issue in the heat but would have been welcome in the morning. Water pressure dipped at times, likely due to dry conditions, and there was a power outage for about an hour on the second day, which could have been worse in the heat. They didn’t serve lunch or dinner, so I had to order outside. Two staff members worked at reception; the one who checked me in was friendly, while the other who handled breakfast seemed a little cold. There was no view at all, so a bit of outside scenery would have been nice for my two nights.
