Very quirky accommodation, fabulous old‑world feel. The bed was a bit too soft for me.

Lovely hotel. Very atmospheric. The staff were friendly and helpful. The food was excellent – lots of variety and beautifully presented.

Breakfast was decent and the bed was comfy. The location and building were very nice. The dinner food was just like school meals, nothing special.

I loved the dinner options, the spot near Whalley and Clliheroe, the suite itself, and how friendly and helpful the staff were. But with the price we paid, I expected dressing gowns and slippers in the room.
