I had a real struggle finding the hotel I was supposed to stay at, even though I was in the area. I asked airport staff, taxi drivers, and shopkeepers, but no one could help me. It seemed like there was a discrepancy in the hotel's listed location. In the end, I had to book a different place, which added to my taxi costs and made my room more expensive.

We were a bit confused when we arrived at the Sancta Maria, only to find out that we were actually staying at Base 9, which seemed to be owned by the same person. Despite the initial mix-up, our stay was actually pretty good - the place was clean and comfortable. However, we struggled to find the hotel in the first place, and it would have been really helpful if there was clearer information about the change of hotel.

The location of this place was great, and the cleanliness was top-notch. The staff were also super friendly, which made a big difference. One thing that did catch us off guard was the presence of a few mosquitoes in the room.

The hotel's proximity to the airport was a major plus, but that's where the good news ended. The building was a construction site, and it turned out to be an apartment complex, not a hotel. There was no on-site staff, and the fridge was disgusting - it had mold and a broken water bottle. The toilet had hair on the plunger, and there was no remote for the air conditioning. To top it all off, the Wi-Fi didn't work the whole time, and our "breakfast" was a sad bunch of bananas in a bag.

We were really looking forward to staying here, but things didn't quite add up. The room was a decent size, but the whole place felt like a dodgy apartment building, not a hotel like we were promised. It was tucked away in a tiny alley behind the airport, and the atmosphere just didn't feel right. We ended up checking out early because we didn't feel safe or comfortable.
