There was absolutely nothing. The room was not ready at check‑in and it was in the worst state I’ve ever seen: dirt everywhere, beer cans and chicken bones on the floor, a bed soaked in red wine, towels soaked in urine, a moldy shower, and tomato sauce splattered across the counters. Food was still left out, there was no kitchen sink, and cupboards meant for clothes were filled with disorganized cutlery pieces that weren’t even complete sets. The crockery was confusing in size, with only one plate available and a single sugar for coffee and tea. Trash had not been disposed of, so I had to vacuum before anyone finally cleaned it up. The bed had two mattresses of different sizes, making it very uncomfortable. This was my worst stay, especially since I had just arrived from the Netherlands, jet‑lagged and exhausted, and I couldn’t use anything or sleep.
