The castle’s exterior and location are good. The castle would be a jewel if it were restored and furnished with taste; currently the furniture is all over the place and there is no one around except during the morning departure, so the building feels more like a ghost castle. The rooms in the newer part are old‑fashioned, and the price is definitely too high. I would not stay there again.

The location is quiet, the room has plenty of storage, it is clean with great beds. It was comfortable, and we were able to heat the room in September. The proximity to Füssen and the castle was also great.
