The reception was friendly, even though it was lunch hour. The ad said there was a restaurant and a wine bar on site, but both were closed and the info wasn’t updated. I arrived between 12 and 13 h and no one was at the front desk.

The curtains were torn! The dog barked all night! The minibar was empty! We were supposed to stay for two nights but only stayed one.

The staff were really on point and the room felt huge, which I appreciated. The only downside was that the hotel sits out in the countryside, reachable by a short dirt road, though it’s still under five minutes from the town centre.

Everything about this place impressed me – the suite had a massive TV, a cozy fireplace, a king‑size bed with a comfy mattress, and a roomy bathroom with a bathtub. Breakfast was top‑notch, served with a stunning view of the araucaria trees.
