This spot is great for tourists traveling from the Masai Mara to the Serengeti or heading to Uganda via the Busia border; we stopped there after the Masai Mara. The service fell short of tourist expectations: guests complained about noise, uncomfortable beds, and stone‑tiled floors that looked dirty and dusty. The ladies on duty seemed startled when we arrived, even though the booking was made well in advance, and they appeared unsure of how to greet guests, looking scared and out of control. It seems the place is run by a very strict owner who is often absent, leaving staff unempowered, which showed at check‑in when they couldn’t generate door codes smoothly. Cameras are understandable, but the owner needs to empower on‑site staff. Even though we paid online two months ahead, the staff couldn’t prepare meals on site and had to run to the market, so our guests chose not to eat there. Overall, the location is nice and has strong potential if the remote owner empowers the staff.

“Very nice place to stay and we'll certainly come back again!”

Breakfast and dinner were very nice, and the place was quiet, which I really appreciated. Finding it was a bit hard, but the hosts were helpful over the phone; a sign would make it easier.
