The castle is “tres charmante”; everything feels a bit dated and needs a thorough overhaul, but perhaps that’s why it feels so unique. Otherwise, nothing to complain about if you don’t set the bar too high. The pool water should circulate more often.

We spent two fantastic nights at Château de Varambon 🏰✨. The setting is gorgeous and full of charm. Access to the pool was truly great and the breakfast superb! My children, aged 3 and 6, loved dressing up as princess and knight: they really pretended to be little lords, it was awesome! 👸⚔️ A wonderful family stay, with beautiful memories to keep.
