The location near the beach is perfect for a night’s stay.

The room is a good size, but it looked abandoned and nobody seemed to care.

The bungalows sit in a tree‑filled garden, spaced well apart, with a comfortable bed and a beach within walking distance. When I called reception, the staff quickly fixed some room issues. However, maintenance was poor, especially the bathroom with rusty fixtures, a cupboard falling apart, and unclean walls. The kettle was dirty, so I had to request a new one. Staff are on-site, but you have to call them via a Thai phone number; there’s no chat. A cash deposit was required—very unusual—and I didn’t receive a receipt. There’s no mosquito net on any window, so I couldn’t ventilate; the room felt suffocating, especially after I realized the check‑in staff had set the AC to fan‑only mode. The nearest beach has darker, coarser sand than many others on the island and is crowded with resorts, with few nearby eating spots within a reasonable walk.

The place sits in a great spot, but there’s no front desk— you have to dial a number shown on a sign or walk to the next hotel, which might be owned by the same people, for help. The staff were very attentive and friendly. However, the beach isn’t within walking distance, and in low season the breakfast felt pricey for the limited options offered. Ants slipped in through a door that didn’t close properly, and the bed we were given had bedbugs, leaving us with bites that ruined the stay; we booked three nights but only stayed two.
