Wild Planet Nilgiris offers the perfect balance of luxury and wilderness; the scenic surroundings, serene ambience and attentive staff made our stay extremely enjoyable, and the entire property blends beautifully with nature, making it an ideal destination for anyone looking to unwind in the Nilgiris.

“Worth a stay!”

The spot is unbeatable, and the rainforest walk was both educational and led by Gokul, who did a fantastic job. The room was spacious and well-equipped, and the food was tasty, though we preferred the vegetarian options over the non‑vegetarian ones. Plenty of walking paths inside the property and a good selection of view spots let us soak up nature, and the quirky one‑liner signboards added charm. On the downside, the room had too many switches with no labels; labeling key ones like the geyser, fridge, TV, and AC would have saved us time and the repeated calls to reception. The dessert variety could be trimmed to focus on quality, and breads, cakes, and donuts—since they’re not the specialty—might be better omitted; less is more if the quality is high.
