“A perfect place to stay to visit the cave temple.”

It’s in a picturesque spot. The evening buffet was fantastic and very affordable. The poolside bar was nice and the staff were helpful. Breakfast offered a good variety. It seemed popular with wedding parties and was ideally located for visiting the Cave temple in Dambulla. The only problem was that the property is spread out, so moving around was hard in heavy rain, with muddy and wet paths. Not the property’s fault, but being in the jungle meant lots of mosquitoes.

Nice place, welcoming staff and good facilities. We came here after a few days at a less than great resort and were delighted to get Sri Lanka back. Absolutely recommend.

“No es un 5 estrellas y no volvería”

The facilities are very pretty. We liked the pool area and the restaurant. We arrived and were offered a smaller room than the one we had booked, with a double bed instead of three single beds. We complained and were finally given another room, which still wasn’t the one we had reserved. The bathroom smelled very bad; we mentioned it and they tried to fix it with a scent, but after using the tap and bathroom it smelled bad again. Very unpleasant. The worst was that the AC didn’t work well; it would shut off every half hour and had to be restarted, preventing us from sleeping. The experience was nowhere near a 5‑star hotel, at best a 3‑star. The price wasn’t cheap, a big disappointment.

The pool was wonderful.

The food was excellent and the staff were helpful. We enjoyed a guided walk around the eco farm where we tasted local fruits. There was no spa.
