The building was a beautiful old structure with lovely, interesting interior décor and furnishings. Our room faced a stained‑glass window of Notre-Dame d'Obézine, and the large private parking area was a welcome relief after finding tight spots elsewhere. I liked everything.
“Wonderful hotel with lovely staff”
Wonderful staff. All very helpful and patient. The hotel is lovely with comfortable beds and big rooms. The parking is also secure and free , the town centre is an easy 5 min walk away.We had a very nice breakfast. There was absolutely nothing we could fault. In fact I wish we'd booked for longer!. Nothing. It was a lovely 2 night stay

“Une adresse d’exception à Angoulême”
Just outside the walls, Hotel des Arts feels like an extension of Hotel Saint Gelais, only a stone's throw away. The rooms are beautifully renovated and spacious, the staff is friendly and attentive, and the buffet breakfast is hearty. A great spot in Angoulême.

The welcome was excellent, the room was perfect—quiet, with a comfortable bed and a very nice bathroom, though the toilet isn’t separate. The breakfast was a bit disappointing.
