The staff were very friendly and the shared areas were comfortable. The bathrooms are outside the house, which wouldn't bother me if they were in good condition, had tile instead of wood, and didn't smell like cat urine. The bathroom cleaning was also terrible. The mattresses are very thin and you can feel the floor. Also, why don't they put doors for the rooms? Everything from outside can be heard! Zero.

We could leave our luggage in the common area after checkout with no problem. There were cameras pointing at the common area. Nothing major, but a quick hint that they were there would have been nice!

The hostel was close to the beach and the bunk beds were really comfortable and you have your own personal space

This youth hostel was converted from an old house, fully equipped, with a cheerful housekeeper and friendly roommates, making it a “diving-friendly” backpacker spot. The whole room has air conditioning, and to avoid stuffiness when the door curtain is pulled up, there's a small fan next to the bed that you can turn on or off yourself. The reading light and fan switches are thoughtfully placed: one at the entrance and another inside the bed, so no matter which way you lie down, you can easily control them.
