The spot is spot-on, right next to downtown and the nightlife, so I had to endure loud music until about 3 am on Saturday night, but that’s the trade‑off for being close to the action. Checking in was smooth even though there was no front desk, and the host stayed on top of things the whole time; the room stayed neat and clean.

We loved every detail of the place; the room was beautiful with a bathtub and a terrace. The downstairs lounge had a fridge with cold water and you could leave food there. They provided towels for tours and the location was excellent. The staff member who attended us was charming, everything was perfect. We even asked how many guests the accommodation can hold because we’d love to return.

What a wonderful place, such a hidden gem right in the heart of beautiful Oaxaca. I absolutely recommend staying at Casa Olie. The only thing I didn’t like was that I only spent two nights there!

Whenever I go to Oaxaca I really enjoy staying at Casa Olié; the location is fantastic. The café across the street is 100/10. The rooms are very clean and comfortable.
