The stay was great, the room was huge and the bed comfortable, and it’s right next to the dunes for an evening walk; the city center with its food and markets is close by, breakfast was good, and you can go for free to a nearby hotel (by car) to use their swimming pool. It could get hot and there’s no AC, but my stay was okay; just keep that in mind.

The stay was cozy and authentic in the best ways; we stayed before and after our desert tour, and it was the best way to unwind, relaxing in the courtyard overlooking the dunes. It feels more like a homestay with the warm welcome of Youssef and his cats. The walk to the shops and restaurants is short, a slightly longer walk to the bus stop is not tedious, and the stroll through the sleepy village is more relaxing; this is definitely worth a stop purely for the experience and to unwind. The bedroom was very warm at night, but that’s literally a desert so it’s expected and a minor issue.

The best thing are the guys who run the place, very friendly and attentive, always ready for anything that comes up, which is nice! It’s very close to the dunes and the town; highly recommend going out to see the sunrise, even if you wander a bit into the dunes. The adobe construction has a beautiful courtyard with its little animals, the breakfast was good, and the experience is authentic. It might be too hot, so consider installing air conditioning.

The location on the edge of the dunes is great and quiet; the staff were helpful and considerate, the room is a good size, and breakfast is decent. The outside areas could use a little spruce‑up, and a small selection of refreshments would be a nice addition.

The desert is close by, so we managed to take some nice photos. It was scorching hot, no air‑conditioning, and the fan didn’t help. The walls heat up in a day, and at night it feels like you’re in an oven; nothing cools down overnight. The room has no hooks to hang clothes, and the door gaps let in sand. The lamp barely lights up, making it very dark. Sand is on the floor in the bathroom. The shower pressure feels like it’s coming from a barrel, and the water temperature is much higher in the evening than in the morning.
