Cleanliness and the location were great, yet a side lamp table next to the bed would have been welcome.

I arrived at the hotel only to find the owner saying there were no rooms left and that he had asked Oyo customer service to cancel the bookings. I don’t know where the mistake occurred; if Oyo had known, they should have prevented the booking or arranged an alternative well before I got there. If they couldn’t resolve it, they should have compensated me because I wasted time and energy. At that late hour, I couldn’t find a room nearby. I could have driven a few kilometres to another place, but if I had relied on public transport at 11 pm, I’d be in trouble. The owner blamed water scarcity to customer care, yet the hotel staff admitted they had already given the last room to someone else and told me the owner would offer me a room in the morning. If water scarcity was the real issue, none of this would have happened. Oyo’s support agent failed to locate the nearest available hotel, directing me to one 7 km away, while I found another with rooms just 1–2 km away. The customer service was terrible, and the staff only wanted to brush off responsibility by refunding the money. If this had happened, they should have paid 2–3 times the amount I paid as compensation for the inconvenience and trauma caused.

“Very bad experiences.”

The room was clean, but it was small and cramped. Room service was poor, water facilities were awful, and the hotel’s location was a headache. Within 2–3 km there were no other hotels or restaurants, and the hotel offered no food facilities.
