“The R100 Late Check-in is Off Putting”
Finding the place wasn’t difficult. They offer smoking areas. The Wi‑Fi was reliable and the bed was comfortable. The staff were amazing. However, I’m not a fan of the R100 per hour late‑check‑in fee for arrivals after 9 pm. Getting inside is hard because there’s no intercom; you must call a caretaker to open the door, which was tough since we’re not South African and didn’t have e‑SIMs or SA SIM cards. A fellow guest helped us when he saw us smoking outside. That R100 late‑check‑in charge is why I’ll never book there again.
