The location was good and the bed was comfortable, but they only told me after booking that the pool and gym were closed, and when I tried to cancel they refused—total scam. The hotel and room are old and need a lot of maintenance; the hallway and room smelled strongly of humidity. Breakfast was average with bad coffee and no espresso machine; when I asked for a cappuccino they gave me a horrible powder mixed with milk.

The hotel sits right in central Jakarta with easy access from the airport, and the staff kept the room spotless each day, which felt great. Even though I checked in late and left early in the morning, they handled everything politely. The listing didn’t mention a bathtub, but as the hotel indicated, the room did have one, and the breakfast offered a wide selection and was served from early morning without any issue. The only downside was the heavy roadwork around the city centre, which made it hard to find the entrance and once caused my Grab ride to be cancelled.
