“Cost and value doesn't match”
I liked the location for our destination. The vinyl floor had cracks taped with duct tape. The mattress sat on a slick, oversized platform that kept hitting my legs when I walked near the bed; it was only about 4 inches thick and slid easily, making me worry I might fall off. The pillows felt flat and old. The bathroom fan was extremely loud. The room was clean, the TV worked well, and the air conditioning did its job, but the price seemed to outweigh the room’s quality.
The stop was perfect and had a laundry area for us to wash. The room could have been cleaned a bit better with more towels, and our check‑in staff were sleeping when we arrived.
“Motel 6”
Nothing. Towels were old and discolored. They looked like used rags. They didn't even give us enough. We were 3 adults and 1 child and they only gave us 2 small towels, not even bath towels. The comforters on the beds were super worn with holes, pillows were old and balled up. The shower had hair in the drain. We only stayed 1 night and moved to a different hotel. When I mentioned to the manager that we wanted to leave early and the reason, he didn't even try to make things right. He responded like this was normal
“It was fantastic we always stay there and we will continue to stay there”
Clean, no pool. Nothing was wrong with the property, the staff were amazing, and the place looked fantastic.
“Bed was too hard and lumpy. They need to replace mattress.”
Got in easily from the highway, but the bed felt like broken springs—too hard and lumpy, made sleeping a real pain.
