The food was surprisingly good, especially the dishes made from the farm’s own produce, and the white wine was excellent. The mattresses, however, felt quite thin and should be replaced.

The hosts were very welcoming, not only offering great food but also giving us a tour of their ham production. From here, there are plenty of day‑trip options.

I returned because my first visit last year was cut short and I fell in love with the place; the team welcomed us warmly, as if we were coming home. A special thank‑you to Silva, who tirelessly hosted us both morning and evening. This time we managed to enjoy a dinner made from the property’s own produce, crowned by excellent local wines. We also bought ham and sausage to take home (bring cash for that, even though the hotel and restaurant accept cards). The location is superb—by car you can reach several nearby natural attractions that, thanks to the heat, attract more city‑goers. There was enough to do and see for more than two days, so we hope to come back and maybe stay in new Pinja cabins.
