Sara, Bruno, Felipe, Carlos, and Isaac made our stay absolutely marvelous. They were flawless from start to finish—very kind, attentive, hospitable, and also fun and affectionate. The food is truly unique, especially the breakfast, one of the best I've ever had. Don’t miss the white fish ceviche, shrimp pastel, and serrano fish; the drinks were also exceptional. The location is perfect, offering a unique, unforgettable view right beside the mangrove and overlooking the sea. The room was delightful and exceeded our expectations. The Casa Uca team was outstanding in every way, and we hope to see them again soon. As some other guests have mentioned, if you’re the type who prefers toast and bacon in a generic city hotel buffet, skip Guriú.

The hotel is lovely, the room comfortable, and the staff attentive. Breakfast isn’t a buffet but is very well served. To kite‑surf you need to take transport to the peak; the hotel provides contacts for buggy operators if you want to hire them for downwind. Food and drinks at the hotel are pricey but very good. In Vila do Guriu there are good restaurant options.

“Amazing place to stay in Guriu!”

The place is amazing, right by the mangrove and sea, and you can see everything from the balcony! Breakfast is delicious, served by the pool in a great atmosphere. The pool is always perfectly clean! The staff are lovely and always trying to please you. The bed and the shower are very, very good, and cleanliness is excellent. The only thing that could be improved is the infrastructure for kitesurfing gear; there’s a nice “guardería” but no wind‑protected area to wash, clean, and pack your equipment—a suggestion if the place wants to target kite‑surfers.

“Um local para se voltar várias vezes!”

The locale is very pretty; the fishing village is peaceful with good tours and restaurants. The inn’s setup is well maintained, the room spacious and very cozy. Everyone on staff is very friendly and pleasant, service flawless. Breakfast is wonderful and the restaurant food is top‑class. The inn offers a very inviting atmosphere to unwind and relax, listening to good music on the sofas around the pool. It was nice to see many families staying there; I was initially worried about having a 3‑year‑old, but the staff’s service and welcome surprised me.
