“Ein wunderbarer Ort um sich zurückzuziehen und sehr gutes Essen genießen.”

It is a very nice country estate in a large park. The château and surroundings give a calm and friendly impression. Pure relaxation is enjoyed there. The refined cuisine deserves special mention – it differs from the usual menus of the area. The house would deserve a much higher rating for its cuisine than what the brochure lists.

“Beautiful old building and very comfortable.”

This is a beautiful place to stay, the building is amazing. The facilities are very good and the beds very comfortable, we didn’t eat here so don’t know about the food but the dining room looked nice. The only thing I would say is that because it’s such an old building the floors are very, very creaky! It didn’t bother us but if you are a very light sleeper it might disturb you.

“A first class welcome in a well located chateau full of character.”

Location, ambience and service are first class. Nicolas is an excellent proprietor. Nothing seems too much trouble. All is good. If it had a mini gym and a pool it would be perfect.

“Excellent place to get away from the world or for easy access to st Malo - whatever your needs.”

I was thrilled by the historic vibe of the building and the calm it offered, and the private chapel was a lovely touch. The staff were exceptional and super attentive, and breakfast had a great variety. Just remember to book dinner in advance – we missed it because we were too slow to ask. We’ll definitely return!
