The staff were very kind and helpful, lending us an adaptor and letting us check in earlier than expected, which we really appreciated. The hotel is also very central, with plenty of nice restaurants and coffee shops nearby. However, there were several issues with the room. Some parts of the shower were not clean, and the shower was also leaking slightly. The blanket had an absolutely unpleasant smell, and part of the duvet was sticking out of the sheet, where we could see yellow stains. This was honestly disgusting. My only pair of earplugs for this trip were on the table in the morning. Once we came back and the cleaning was done, the pair was on the floor. The walls are extremely thin, and around midnight we could hear almost everything happening in the neighbouring room. We eventually had to knock on their door and ask them to keep the noise down.
The breakfast is worth paying for. There was no room to put our things or luggage. I broke a glass on the first night and told the staff. After 4 days there was still dust and glass shards on the floor. Also, seeing other guest’s used condiment wrappers in the tray was off‑putting. On the third day I asked them to replace my tea mug and it was just rinsed in the bathroom with tea stains left in it.
“A classy hotel that's comfortable with a good breakfast. Double check your room direct with hotel.”
A classy room, comfortable mattress, our requested bedroom had a bathtub. The breakfast is good quality. A note to everyone: you can choose a room with a bathtub, but the hotel does not allow this. If you need to change your booking and add a second day, it’s cheaper to book its second night under a completely new booking. If you request it to the hotel you will find your bill has a considerable extra fee added, and you won’t get it refunded.
“Would stay here again.”
We had a really pleasant stay. The room was very clean, and the staff were lovely and helpful. Having long hair, I especially appreciated the good hairdryer and the great water pressure in the shower. I also really liked the Nuxe toiletries, which were a nice touch. They also offer luggage storage, which was very convenient and something we really appreciated on both the first and last day of our stay. The location is great. The beds are a bit short (I would say around 1.8 m), and there is no shower door, so the bathroom might get wet if you’re not careful when taking a shower. Also, the bathroom door has a glass panel, and I would personally prefer a door without glass
