La Moncloa de San Lazaro, a 13th-century converted hospital on the Camino de Santiago, offers rustic rooms with wooden floors, air conditioning, and free Wi-Fi. The hotel features a restaurant serving local El Bierzo cuisine, a café-bar, and a shop selling artisan produce. A beautiful place, very picturesque, with great food.

The location, the retreat and gift shop were great, and the jet tub was the best thing after a long day of walking. The breakfast add‑on was just okay and not worth it in my opinion; local restaurants offer better breakfast service.

The best stay on the whole Camino, a beautiful room and, to my surprise, a bath! Nothing else to complain about.

Spa bath, the beds very comfietable, the restaurant on site the meal was excellent, very quiet. Breakfast too late as we had to get on the trail early. Not a biggie
