1 double bed
2 twin beds
The staff were good, but parking had a night market on Friday.
“Práctico”
It’s well positioned for catching the ferry to the islands, the staff are friendly, and when we arrived there was a street food market. The value for money is excellent and very inexpensive, although the hotel itself is quite old and shabby, but for one night it’s not bad at all.
The location was great, but the room was next to the gym and the music stayed blasting until midnight, making it noisy.
“Hotel limpio y bien ubicado para descansar antes/después de cruzar a las Perhentian”
The hotel sits just around the bus terminal and a few blocks from the jetty, which is very convenient. They offer a boat‑booking service to the Perhentian Islands, and if you buy there (the price is the same everywhere, it’s regulated) they’ll even take you free to the jetty. The room was clean and exactly as shown in the photos, with all the basics for a short stay; the shower had no hot water, but with the heat it’s not a big deal. The receptionist is very friendly. The lack of hot water and the street noises at night are not the hotel’s fault. It would be nice to have a double blanket instead of two single ones, but that’s common in Malaysia.
“Fine for a night”
Nothing special, just a decent place for a night before or after the islands; the room was old but super clean! It’s very close to a bus terminal and only a 4‑minute taxi ride to the boat jetty or a 15‑minute walk, but there was no hot water for the shower, though it wasn’t that cold.
