It felt like a genuine pub with a stellar reputation for its food, and the beer selection was excellent; the room was extremely comfortable and the bathroom was top‑quality. It was close to the lovely centre of Llandaff and walking along the River Taff, but the lack of a car park and the competition for street parking were problematic, and the poor internet quality undermined the otherwise great facilities.

A bit of a hidden gem, chosen at random because it was near the halls my daughter was moving into. The staff were very friendly, the room superb, and the pub seemed great even though we only stopped for a quick drink after lugging bags. I’ll probably come back a few times. The only downside was some road noise, but it’s on a road, so, hey, and I couldn’t get the TV to work, yet neither spoiled my stay.

What a fantastic place! The room was gorgeous and pristine, with everything you needed, including a coffee machine, complimentary tea, and even a small communal fridge in the hallway. The staff was very lovely as well. We'll definitely come back! We wish there was a rubbish bin in the room itself, but apart from that everything was perfect.
