Overall, things were fine, but the maid shouldn't have switched off the air conditioning while we were in bed, drenched and trying to sleep. I also had a bad experience with the receptionist: I was assigned a bed and a locker that were not ready. When I asked her to fix it, she told me to move the bed and the locker, forcing me to climb four flights of stairs to change it just before dinner, while I was exhausted and a bit ill from traveling. She should have handled it because she was at fault for putting me in an unfinished bed. It was not my job to move my bag from the locker; she said it had to be ready for incoming guests, which isn’t my problem. She should have moved my baggage for me. The place has no elevator, so climbing stairs was tiring, especially since I was already sick and hungry. After that, no one came to that bed that night, and no one fixed it for a new guest, so I had to walk back up for nothing. Her tone was arrogant and dismissive throughout the conversation. Mistakes should be corrected or offered solutions, not ignored. She needs HR training.
