“Decepción”

The staff were very friendly when they were present, but the photos on the app look like they’re from many years ago because the place actually looks old and neglected; the facilities were in bad condition—from a dirty room, barely working air conditioning, a moldy bathroom, poor water pressure (and no hot water), to a dirty kitchen full of ants. Someone even stole from our food, which was a major discomfort. Knowing this, we wouldn’t have paid for so many nights. One or two days might be okay, but there are probably better options at the same price.

The hotel is amazing, the rooms are great, and the location is fantastic, but I wish I could have stayed longer haha

“Terawat, Bersih, Nyaman, Aman, dekat kemana-mana, dan pemiliknya sangat ramah”

I stayed at Oke Baik Hostel and it was a comfortable and safe place to sleep. The bedroom and bathroom were clean, the AC worked well and was very cold, and the bed was spotless with no bedbugs or tiny cockroaches. They always replace the mattress cover after a guest leaves, dry the mattress under the sun, and do a general cleaning every day. The room was very cozy, with no mosquitoes or any smell, thanks to excellent air circulation. They supplied a fridge, stove, dispenser, and a shared kitchen area. If I visit Jogja again, I will definitely stay at Oke Baik Hostel. Thanks to the owner and staff.

“Homestay hat mehrncharme als hotelpalaeste...”

The air conditioning and internet were the best parts of our holiday. The hostel manager didn’t speak very good English but was a super nice guy and helped as much as he could. I hope they get many guests so they can renovate the bathroom a bit.
