The breakfasts were fantastic, a special treat that made every morning wonderful. Andrew greeted us warmly, was hospitable, and always ready to answer any questions. The house itself was full of charming nooks and crannies and absolutely beautiful.

I loved the location; walking downtown was easy and it was only a 5 minute drive to Acadia. The only downside was that the soap pump at the bathroom sink was a bit inconvenient—after a few hand washes the bar soap got messy.

The location was great and the owner was very helpful; when my wife couldn't climb stairs, he went out of his way to find us a first‑floor room. Unfortunately, there were no elevators to the 2nd and 3rd floors, a detail I should have noted earlier because my wife had trouble climbing stairs after foot surgery.

The host was extraordinarily gracious, helpful, and welcoming, the rooms were comfortable and clean, and the breakfasts were delicious and perfectly served. He shared his knowledge of the area and was eager to guide us to special sights, which was a wonderful bonus. The late‑afternoon wine get‑together was a special treat. The only thing missing were muffins for the road—having a treat for our hikes would have been extra nice. Overall, everything was very nice.
