Very unique experience, food was good. This is nothing to do with the staff , this is legit a hut over the water you can hear every sound possible. The dogs barking all thru the night then rosters at 5am to construction at 7am. The people on the hut next to you you can hear every word. There are many bugs. And the toilet is just a bowl for number 1 the public toilet outside is where you go for everything else. We only stayed one night as we had the worst sleep but if sound doesn’t bother you. Then you won’t mind this stay

The spot sits right beside the river, giving a rustic feel that makes you feel surrounded by forest. Free kayaks, a shower, and a hammock on the balcony were provided, and they even handed me chopped fruit upon arrival, which was surprisingly tasty. The location is great because of the river, but the place is wedged between two hostels, so motorbike noise is constant. The bamboo huts are gorgeous, yet the small size means you hear everyone—when someone uses the bathroom, when a door shuts, or when someone is in the restaurant. The proximity to the river is a plus, but the noise really gets in the way.

“Beautiful but bugs in the bed”

The setting is beautiful, but the mosquito nets had holes, the fan was barely working, and I was swarmed by bugs on the bed.

No one was there when I arrived and the entire property was covered in mud. I shouted for staff and looked for people, but all the bungalows were broken and I could see through them from outside.

“Excellent endroit au calme et authentique”

The spot is perfect, quiet, with a bungalow on the river that’s very relaxing. As some comments note, you should know what to expect; the comfort is basic but part of the experience, and the place is stunning. Kayaks are available, making a river trip enjoyable. A welcome drink and a plate of fruit arrived with me. There’s a hammock on the terrace above the river, and a gorgeous sunset can be seen from there. A short walk away is a great restaurant‑bar with very friendly staff.
