The location was very convenient, but I was put into a room that had just been sprayed with insecticide, and there were dead and dying crickets and water bugs everywhere on the floors—so many that their bodies were crunching under my feet, which was disgusting. I was also told the owner wouldn’t accept my EMS papers for my pet because in his country they don’t believe in the emotional support provided by an animal.

The room was clean and comfortable, but there was very little food and we had 45 minutes left until it was to close. We were the only ones there at the time, and the ice machine was out of order.

We arrived at the property and it was awful, so the man at the front desk said he would cancel—hopefully he did. The manager called it a two‑star property, while the site listed it as three stars; I wouldn’t even give it a one star.

The location wasn’t bad, as it was conveniently located right off the highway, but the staff seemed to do the best they could to clean all the surfaces in the room. This place is very run down, inside and out, and one of the very worst places I’ve ever stayed. The interior and exterior are all in severe disrepair, and the smell throughout is horrible. There appeared to be mildew on at least one of the photos on the wall in our room, along with spots where the ceiling texture was falling off. The bath linens were worn thin and yellowed. The peephole was covered by a sticky piece of felt. The free breakfast was an absolute joke and not worth the risk—hardly any selection and just a very creepy vibe. The gym was laughable. The only real positives were the very nice lady who checked us out the next morning, and the bed wasn’t horrible (having our own pillows helped).
