We really liked the accommodation. We stayed in the Superior Chalet with a direct view of the large garden. During the day, the Helmer chickens visited us, and at dusk deer came by. The quiet location is excellent – we would have liked to stay longer. The shared kitchen is a great idea. Everything we needed was there. The homemade apple jam for breakfast was very good. We have nothing to complain about.

Excellent location for a peaceful break. Plenty of high‑quality items and produce for a DIY breakfast. The surroundings are ideal for relaxation. Lots of walking opportunities near the north bank of the Humber. Becky and Warren are excellent hosts. Lily and Binky the dogs have great personalities, and it was nice to see the guinea fowl flock moving freely. What’s not to like?

Very comfortable place to stay in a very nice location, with lots of guinea fowl, so extra good if you like guinea fowl. The separate breakfast cabin was a nice touch.
