How guests rate the property, aspect by aspect.
We had a great time and wish we could have stayed longer; the shared shower and toilet were spotless, the communal area was enjoyable, and cooking in the kitchen was a highlight. The bed was comfy, and the electric blanket and heater kept us warm. Definitely want to return for a longer stay.

All that was missing were extra pillows and a small side table next to the bed.

The hosts went above and beyond with kitchen supplies, even offering milk, and there were plenty of fireplaces for groups. The kitchen/lounge area was a lovely spot for bird watching and relaxing. The Bunk House is the only large room for visiting groups, which encouraged a party vibe among couples in tents who were looking for a quieter retreat. Guests respected the quiet hours from 10 pm to 8 am, which helped. The wrens and parrots are delightful to watch, and the manager is friendly and helpful; the staff clearly love the bush retreat atmosphere. There were many thoughtful touches, making for a great stay. Nothing to complain about.
