“Was ok. Nice people. Nice place for events. Nice pool. Clean.”
The banquet rooms were large, the lobby was clean, and the place was spacious with an indoor pool; they handed us water and granola bars at check‑in, and because our view was of the pool we kept the curtains closed. The bed felt like a cloud if you like that kind of comfort. The hallway to the rooms felt like stepping back in time—very old‑looking, smelling bad, though the next day they had air fresheners plugged in, which seemed odd. The hotel doors were painted metal, making the transition from elegant to aged through one door feel strange.
