“Convenient location, but dirty and very simple”

The spot was good for its location, but the room was dirty, old, and the AC blew loudly through the night.

“Hotel horrible. BATES MOTEL MIGHT BE BETTER.”

We never actually stayed because we were forced to leave; we demanded a refund and recorded a video. The place was decrepit, with dirty debris in the microwave, a broken phone, a toilet that looked dark brown and stained, and a fridge scratched as if an animal had clawed at it—horrific. We left immediately, and the owner promised no charge, yet we were billed. The owner told us to refund us, ooling.com. Please don’t send anyone else there. The so‑called accessible room was literally a nightmare, truly disgusting. The whole place needs a makeover; the motel‑like door rooms have gaps under them that critters could slip through. I’ve never seen a dirtier or older room. Avoid at all costs. The toilet was broken, and I didn’t even check the water.

The room was very comfortable and clean, but I was charged twice for one night. I spoke to a Jerry at check‑in; he said my card didn’t go through, yet I showed him my account and he saw it. He promised one charge would drop off and be refunded to my account, which I’m watching. I’ll get back to you if this doesn’t happen in a few days.

“It was convenient for getting to the cruise port. Economical”

The location was fine, but the place could use a bit more TLC. The shower caulk should be replaced, and a door jam that had been backed into needs to be repaired or replaced.
