The house and its owner were welcoming; they waited for us late into the evening. The village house is a classic Korean style, very tidy and quiet. The lady was extremely kind in the morning, preparing breakfast and handing us ready eggs to take away, a genuinely amiable person. We chatted through a translator. The village is about a 10‑minute taxi ride from Hanok village.
“Your host is wondefully kind and caring of her guests. Breakfast is traditional homemade korean and is heavan to the tas”
The property sits in a peaceful village surrounded by hills and green fields, offering a tranquil atmosphere. A lovely walk along the river leads to Jeonju Hanok Village. There is nothing to dislike.
“Jeonju hanok-an delights.”
Jeonju hanok‑an was an outstanding experience. Kim went the extra mile to make our stay pleasant and enjoyable, offering fresh eggs in the morning and other delightful treats. It’s tucked away from the bustle in a local area, easy to reach by bus or taxi. With the translated app we had great communication, sharing stories and asking for advice on navigating the area. I highly recommend staying here.
“A good place to experience the authentic Korean lifestyle”
The traditional Korean hanok house is very clean and spacious enough for two people and two large suitcases. The owners are very nice, enthusiastic, and helpful. We communicated well through the translation app, which worked well for us. The location is calm, offers free parking, and is just outside Jeonju. A bike rental is 50 metres away, and the ride to Jeonju city centre via cycle path is really nice. We will recommend this accommodation; it was a great experience for us and suits those who want to experience authentic Korean lifestyle.
