The manager went above and beyond, texting me to coordinate my late arrival and getting me into the room early after my overnight flight. The nights were quiet inside, though nature sounds filled the air outside. A train line runs close to the property on Google Earth, but I never heard a train during my four days there. A few bathroom fixtures need replacing, yet everything else worked fine; the place feels rustic and hasn’t had a full renovation in a while, which isn’t necessary. The bed was an inner‑spring type, a bit soft but didn’t disturb my sleep—just a note for those who prefer firm memory foam. The bathroom window wasn’t frosted and lacked a curtain; it faces dense woodland but still feels slightly exposed.
