There are plenty of restaurants nearby, and the bus stop and subway station are close. The female staff at the hotel were friendly. The place isn’t dirty, but it’s a bit cluttered. Every toilet is squat‑style, and the shower room door is hard to close.

The man who runs the property was fantastic and managed to take us to the steppe which was incredible, loved the whole experience. There are only squat toilets which was rough but otherwise value for money facilities

Fab place! A real hostel, not an impersonal dormitory. The manager is a super nice and helpful guy. I got a chance to meet his family when we went to the grassland, which, BTW, I highly recommend. The hostel is a 5-minute walk from the metro station. There are plenty of restaurants, a supermarket and the Inner Mongolia Museum. Super safe for solo female travellers. If I come back to Hohhot, I'll definitely stay in this hostel again

A good sized double room in a fantastic suburb with excellent transport connections (bus and metro). Small, simple backpackers hostel. We received incredible service starting with someone waiting outside when we arrived, then received a lot of help from the manager during our stay. Much appreciated!
