The location is within walking distance of shops and restaurants, but we used our car with its own parking spot. Each morning, the owner served a hot breakfast at 8:00 AM with a big smile and friendly conversation. The room was amazing, featuring a coffee pot with all essentials, a fridge, dining table, TV, ceiling fans, a sitting couch, chair, desk, walk‑in closet, and beautiful décor.

The room was pretty good and the location was fine. The listing said no pets were allowed, yet the owners have two large loud dogs. Breakfast was not good, and the parking was not great.

Magnolia Cottage is “Southern” in every way possible. From the beautiful, layered décor that feels as if it’s been gathered from years of family living to the breakfast that took me back to my childhood and all of those wonderful days spent with family and friends, hospitality is at its best. Nothing was lacking; it was perfect.

We’ve been coming back each year, and the owners are always welcoming. Ms. Jackie cooks wonderfully and hosts with warmth, and the cottage itself makes you feel right at home.
