“Fine for an overnight stopover whilst travelling through”

The location, just off the highway, was convenient for an overnight stop, and the walk to pizza and IGA was short. The place was clean. The room and bathroom were small, a bit old, and run‑down.

“We didn’t like the set up of the Motel and wouldn’t recommend it to our friends.”

We missed breakfast entirely. The bathroom was cramped; my partner, standing 6ft 4in, had to sit sideways on the toilet. The space between the basin was also very small. The bed was too soft, and there was no fan, which was a problem since neither of us likes air‑conditioning. The plastic chairs were very uncomfortable too.
