The place feels like a single‑family house and the atmosphere was very quiet. The outdoor hot spring with the natural spring water was scorching hot, and I really felt the “hot spring” vibe. If you want a peaceful time and can’t hear other rooms, it’s the best. This time there was no noise at all, so it was perfect. They had warned me beforehand that to reach the separate hot spring villa, you have to climb a lot of stairs, so you need to check that in advance. I managed to do it even at 70 years old. Once you get up, you’ll find a wonderful place to stay.

“リピートでまた来たいと思わない”

Fans of a Showa‑era vibe might enjoy it, but the property has a main building and a annex with different facilities, and I had to call to find out which one my room was in; I checked the booking site photos and saw a TV, assuming the room would have one, yet the main building we were assigned had none, and when I pointed out the discrepancy they bluntly said it was the site’s fault, which was disappointing; the shared lounge in the main building did have a TV, but we were never told that, and I’ve never encountered such a response from a hotel before; the building itself feels like an old corporate retreat converted into a hotel, and because it was summer the changing room and toilet by the bath had no air‑conditioning, leaving me drenched in sweat after a soak.

“Um experiência inesquecível.”

Quarto tipicamente japonês, com solo em tatami. Dormimos em futons (muito confortáveis). O conceito de tomar banho era muito típico, mas um pouco desconfortável. Os banhos eram no piso térreo e em “open space”. No entanto, os roupões fornecidos ajudaram um pouco a fazer as travessias entre pisos, depois do banho.
