How guests rate the property, aspect by aspect.
The room offered excellent value, stayed well maintained, and the staff were very accommodating and helpful; I arrived early, asked to leave my bag while I explored the gardens and nearby cafés and the museum, and they happily obliged.

The place sits in a great spot and the beds are comfy, but there was mould in the bathroom and the facilities feel thin—no microwave and only spoons in the room.

The property was dirty, dodgy, and not safe.

They finally supplied the requested microwave, the hotel was close to our sports venue, parking was easy, and the bed was comfortable; however, the bath was chipped and rough, making it hard for me to shower because of hip and knee problems, there was no welcome book with instructions or Wi‑Fi password, I had to call for it, and there were no hand towels, facecloths, detergent, or tea towels for daily dishwashing.

South Melbourne, close to St. Kilda, was the main selling point, but the hotel itself looked tired and in need of repair: stained carpets, a bathroom vanity cabinet that was falling apart, a cracked vanity bowl, and all three rooms for our family were identical and dated; I paid for the location, yet the carpets weren't cleaned and the bathrooms weren't attended to.
