“No nonsense, value for money”
The location is fine. Unfortunately, there was no staff available during late evenings and mornings.

The Bürgerhofhotel, located beside the historic Kölner Dom in Cologne's city centre, offers modern rooms with free WiFi, TVs, seating areas, and private bathrooms. Unique décor adorns some rooms. This centrally located hotel is a short stroll from the Rhine River, 200 metres from Cologne Main Train Station, and close to ancient city attractions and exhibition grounds.

The hotel sits right in the center, perfect for walking around everything. The room is spacious, the parking garage is nearby, the bathroom is small but clean, and the beds are just right. The downside is the central location brings constant noise from people and traffic. There’s no air conditioning or fan, no way to brew coffee or tea, and no mini‑fridge.

It’s close to the city centre, clean, and quiet. The only drawback is that there’s no dedicated space to leave luggage before you leave.

The location was great, and the room itself was very comfortable. It was a bit annoying that you couldn’t leave your luggage and that you had to climb three flights of stairs every time.

The place was very cheap. The beds, including the pillows, were extremely uncomfortable, and the reception had very short opening hours so you couldn’t even ask for another pillow if you were traveling all day. The room overall needed renovation (walls and toilet seat, for example), and the shower was leaking at the bottom.
